- 1. VGA.

- 1. Create a directory for Global War.
- 2. Copy the Global War program and all its files to your Global War
- directory.
- 3. Change to your Global War directory.
- 4. Run SETUP to select sound options for the game.

- 1. Change to your Global War directory.
- 2. Enter GW at the DOS prompt. After the title screen, a menu will
- appear.
- 3. Select Instructions. This accesses the built-in documentation for
- the game. This will tell you what you need to know to play Global
- War.

- Differences between the registered and unregistered versions:
- The unregistered version of Global War allows you to play a game with
- just armies and navies. The unregistered version ends when one player
- controls one quarter of the world. The following features are only
- available in the registered version of Global War:
- 1. UNLIMITED PLAY - control all countries to win.
- 2. 1-9 players, human or computer.
- 3. Air units, carriers, and air force bases.
- 4. Nuke option.
- 5. Multi attacks.
- 6. Join and quit alliances.
- 7. Load and save games.
- 8. Airborne units.
- 9. Three levels of reenforcements.
